Brian Duffy says good-bye after 39 years in auto insurance

By CRM Staff

Toronto, Ontario– July 31, 2018– Brian Duffy is hanging up his hat after working in the auto insurance industry for 39 years.

“It’s often been said that life is a journey.  Truer words were never spoken, however it is the people you meet along the way that truly make the journey most memorable,” said Duffy.

Always a proponent of Canadian Collision Industry Forum and participant in several panel discussions Brian was a strong supporter of the collision repair industry.

He started his career with Liberty Mutual in May 1979, which was later acquired by TD Insurance in 2004.

For the past three decades Duffy was part of the claims organization and soon became the Canadian regional appraisal manager. He later worked in other departments before finishing with the Product Innovation Team.

The best part of his job was “building trusting relationships with our vendor partners to ensure our customers were well taken care of,” he said.

As for what is next, Duffy has no big plans but would like to still keep in touch with the industry to some degree.

We wish Duffy all the very best in his future travels and adventures.
