Toronto, Ontario – The newest vehicle from Dodge has been leaked to the internet, months before its official announcement in August.
Images of the 2023 Hornet were leaked by Autoblog and Kolesa, who published spy photographs of the new vehicles and vehicle renders respectively.
According to Kolesa, this vehicle has a unique front assembly in line with other Dodge vehicles. However, the headlights, side panels and vehicle rear are nearly identical to the Alfa Romeo Tonale. Headlights are lighter and simpler, but shaped identically to the Tonale.
Autoblog writes that the Dodge uses a split upper grille with larger lower intakes than the Tonale, and features faux vents in the hood, but largely resembles the Alfa Romeo. The front resembles a Dodge Durango and Charger, “but the rest of it looks basically unchanged from the Alfa,” writes Joel Stocksdale.
While unconfirmed, it is very likely that the Hornet will be sold as a value-oriented crossover SUV, rather than targeting the luxury market.
