Hamilton, Ontario — In honour of Women’s History Month, CARSTAR Canada is highlighting a few women who they say have helped make CARSTAR an industry leader in collision repair.
Cheryl Crow, customer service representation at CARSTAR Edmonton South, has been with CARSTAR for four years and joined the industry after hearing about her wife’s positive experience, crediting positive feedback from customers as a primary reason she does what she does.
Natasha Fowler, a junior appraiser at CARSTAR Olds, recently celebrated her two-year anniversary at CARSTAR. She sees untapped potential as the greatest reason for more women to join this line of work, citing painters, technicians, and managers who may prioritize joining facilities which recognize the importance of hiring qualified and skilled women.
Betty Rath, customer service representation office admin at CARSTAR Medicine Hat, spoke to the progress of the industry she has witnessed over the past nine years of her career, citing feeling more acceptance and appreciation for the skills and knowledge she brings to her workplace.
