Scottsdale, Arizona — October 27, 2017 — DeVilbiss Automotive Refinishing has announced the introduction of new UV Primer set-up accessories for use with its TEKNA Primer spray gun.
The company is offering two new fluid tips, the UV1 and UV2, along with a dedicated UV Fluid Needle, for the sensitive application of refinish UV primers where film build can be “very critical” to the success of the curing process.
To help complete the UV set-ups, DeVilbiss is introducing a UV gravity cup constructed from opaque, corrosive-resistant polyester designed specifically for the new generation UV primers. Also available are protective air cap covers to place over the TEKNA Primer gun’s while not in use.
A statement from DeVilbiss said: “When combined with the new TEKNA Primer spray gun, these new UV set-ups provide optimal fluid delivery and offer a complete UV solution ensuring perfect, first time results.”
DeVilbiss previously announced the launch of a new special edition spray gun at this year’s SEMA Show. The TEKNA Vigilante is themed after graphic novel heroes and is inspired by a lineage of “silent crusaders” with a defined purpose who have refined their skill to a level that “defies the ordinary and inspires awe.”
