Toronto, Ontario — Volvo vehicle emergency response guides are now available on the popular online repair procedure repository, OEM1Stop, offering repairers and first responders detailed breakdowns of the automaker’s emergency features.
Spanning much of Volvo’s current model lineup, in addition to a pair of guides on legacy Volvo models, these emergency guides compile rescue information and SRS component descriptions for the benefit of first responders who may need to perform a vehicle extrication.
For instance, the guide for the automaker’s most popular model—the XC60—features a labeled diagram that identifies the locations of fuel and electrical components, as well as airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and general frame reinforcements.
The guides also contain breakdowns of the metal content of Volvo models, which comes at the benefit of first responder and repairer alike.
