Ottawa, Ontario — On October 29th at 2:00 p.m. EST, the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) and its Institute of Automotive Cybersecurity (apmaIAC) will host Canada’s first ever Cybersecurity Awards to celebrate Cyber Awareness Month.
apmaIAC’s goal is to raise Cyber Awareness in the Canadian mobility sector, including the supply chain and vehicle 2 everything (V2X) technologies, by enabling its four pillars; Governance, Assessments, Education, and Technology.
Through the Cyber Mobility Awards, apmaIAC aims to recognize achievements in the field of Automotive Cybersecurity in the following ten categories:
- Outstanding Individual Cyber Achievement
- Cyber Woman of the Year
- Best Cyber Startups
- Academic Cyber Initiatives
- Manufacturer Cyber Achievement
- Supply Chain Cyber Award
- OEM Cyber Achievement
