Toronto, Ontario — Reports have been rolling in, alleging that Mercedes-Benz plans to axe its Mercedes-Benz CLS from production later on this year.
According to initial reports from Driving.ca, the German automaker is planning to shelf the popular four-door “coupe” at the end of the year, falling in line with many other automakers who have been trimming down their model lineups over recent years.
Reports speculate that Mercedes’ similar E-Class sedan will carry on to fill the place of the CLS, as the former is due to ship its new electrified version to certain markets in the coming months, while the latter is set to receive no such EV successor.
To the repairers out there, how prevalent is the CLS in your repair mix? How has its repair process evolved over its lifespan? Let us know in the comments.
