Port Coquitlam, British Columbia — An exciting new autobody competition is set to kick off in under two months in Port Coquitlam. Technicians and painters from B.C.’s lower mainland are already preparing for a true Crash of the Titans.
The inaugural Crash of the Titans Collision Repair Competition is set to take place at Kirmac Collision in Port Coquitlam on Sept. 23.
Organizers announced on LinkedIn Wednesday that registrations are now open for competitors to throw their name in the ring and earn a piece of the $20,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.
Competitors in the autobody category will take on challenges in the fields of plastic repair, sheet metal repair, welding, and frame measuring, event organizers told Collision Repair via email. Refinishers, on the other hand, will be judged on masking, paint prep, painting, and polishing.
While the competition will unfortunately not be open to the public to attend, competitors will be allowed to bring along one guest to cheer them on.
The deadline to register as a competitor is Aug. 25. Click here to register.
