Toronto, Ontario — February 12, 2017 — Consolidated Dealers Co-Op has announced it will hold Paint and Material Profitability Seminars in the Ottawa and Toronto areas. The seminars are presented by BASF, Consolidated Dealers and CCS.
The course centers on how to analyze the factors that influence a collision centre’s profitability regarding paints and materials. Students will calculate actual paint only costs as well as paint and materials cost per paint hour and explore ways to maximize profits on these operations.
The seminar will also teach attendees how to assess sales by scrutinizing damage reports for non-included items, add-ons and proper classifications. Students will learn how to reduce costs through usage reduction and by using the proper classification of non-paint items.
The workshop will also help students to understand and track the paint department’s key performance indicators (KPIs). Sample collision centres will be analyzed to highlight what separates excellent from average or poor performance.
The Ottawa seminar takes place March 14, 2017 at the Ottawa Conference & Event Centre. The Toronto workshop takes place on March 15, 2017 at the Marriott Courtyard & Residence Inn in Mississauga.
