Strongsville, Ohio — PPG recently announced that it will extend its sponsorship of the Tasca racing team for the 2023 National Hot Rod Association, while unveiling a new look at the cars the team will bring to tracks shortly.
The paint scheme is designed to match PPG’s INDYCAR layout and took seven people a total of 350 hours to complete over 14 days.
Featuring bright, bold colors and a high-gloss finish, the car make its premiere at Gainesville, before competing at the NHRA New England Nationals, Thunder Valley Nationals and NHRA Nevada Nationals.
The team’s 11,000-horsepower Nitro Funny Car will display the PPG logo in every race this year, with Bill Shaw, PPG director saying “Our long-time partnership brings two great brands together, creating a strong collaboration between our companies.”
