Calgary, Alberta — February 5, 2017 — The Color Compass Calgary location has recently unveiled a host of renovations, including a new training centre, new offices, a larger retail showroom, new lunchroom, and more. The renovations started in November with the goal of creating a larger training space and a fresher, more inviting atmosphere.
Color Compass and its divisions; Carlson Body Shop Supply, Chase Auto Body Supplies, White & Peters, Rocky Mountain Sales, and PBE Distributors have recently made the news for winning Pro Spot Distributor of the year for the second year running at SEMA 2016, which they have attributed in part to their after-sale training and customer service.
It was this customer oriented attitude that was the primary motivation behind the renovations, according to Jamie Corbeil, Sourthern Alberta Sales Manager with Carlson and project lead on the renovations.
“It’s a very exciting time in Calgary. These new upgrades will carry us into the next decade and enable us to be at the forefront in providing a world class facility and experience for our customers and staff,” says Corbeil, regarding the renovations. “With the rapid changes in our industry we feel that specialized training is of the utmost importance and we want to be able to facilitate as much of that training as we can, this new space will allow us to do that”
The renovations will include the aforementioned training centre renovations, which will now be able to hold double the capacity of their original training centre as well as state-of-the-art projection, sound, and presentation ability. In addition to the training centre come a larger staff lounge space, a larger boardroom, three new staff offices, three new purpose built forward facing order desks and a larger retail showroom space and more. The updated location also received new flooring, paint, millwork and washrooms to complete the renovations.
