Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island — December 2, 2013 — Paul Gaudet of City Collision Services has announced that his business will be relocating and expanding to a brand-new building in the Sherwood Industrial Park near the Charlottetown Airport.
City Collision Services is currently operating next door to Experience Hyunda on Mt. Edward Rd. in a smaller, older space. Gaudet and his staff have over 40 years of experience in automotive collision repair and say they’re looking forward to the move.

“I’m pretty excited about our new expansion as the design will give us a much better controlled environment for painting and detailing and more comfort for our staff and our customers,†says Gaudet.
City Collision Services has signed a lease agreement with well-known Island businessman and property developer Jamie Hill. Hill is using APM Construction Services to turnkey design-build the project to accommodate City Collision Services as a single use tenant.
The project’s building permit was approved by the City of Charlottetown in early November and APM started construction immediately after.
“The foundation has already been poured and the walls have been put up,†says Gaudet. “We’re on track to open the new facility in late spring of 2014 and we’re pumped to do so.â€
This new development is next-door to Hill’s $4 million Northcom Business Centre, which opened last year.
Hill says he is pleased to make these investments in his community.
“We all want businesses to expand and grow here on Prince Edward Island and I’m pleased to be able to support businesses like Paul Gaudet’s, which in turn, helps strengthen our economy and provides new jobs,†says Hill.
The Northcom Business Centre is over 60 percent occupied by tenants such as UPS and Genivar and there are more units available for lease to businesses ranging from commercial, office, retail or light industrial.
