London, Ontario — December 8, 2016 — Collision Industry Information Assistance (CIIA) has announced it will host a presentation designed to introduce repair professionals to the Ontario Stolen and Salvage Vehicle inspection program that is currently available for collision repair and autobody facilities in Ontario.
The program currently has about 300 facilities participating. This update session will provide information to those facilities and to any others who are interested in joining the program.
This presentation covers the reasons for “branding” of vehicles and what that means, how to properly “brand” vehicles at collision repair facilities and how the inspection of “rebuilt” vehicles actually works in Ontario.
The presentation also covers the technical requirements of both how to become an inspection station and what is involved in an inspection of “rebuilt” vehicles.
There is no charge to attend this presentation. It takes place on December 8, 2016 at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. The presentation starts at 8 a.m. and should last approximately two hours.
