Toronto, Ontario — November 12, 2014 — The Collision Industry Information Assistance (CIIA) has announced it will once again be running its basic estimating collision repair training course to help shop or office employees, new estimators and insurance company staff to better estimate collision damage on cars and light trucks in Ontario.
The evening course is eligible for four I-CAR points, and is scheduled to run as two classes per week over a three-week period. It will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., beginning Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Toronto’s Eugene Banquet Centre on 8 Eugene St.
This six-night course offers 18 hours of instruction time and includes an introduction to estimating, and sessions on understanding vehicle construction, the fundamentals of estimate writing, understanding collision manuals, additional charges and collision damage analysis.
Course fees for association members are $450 per person, while non-members can attend for $550 per person. Both costs are not including HST.
