Chief redesigns website to make equipment, data, and training easier to find

The newly redesigned Chief website.

Madison, Indiana — September 15, 2014 — Chief Automotive Technologies has announced that it has redesigned its website to make it easier for collision repair professionals to find the equipment and information they need to properly repair modern vehicles. The new chiefautomotive.com features distinct sections for Chief, Elektron and Chief University, so users can quickly navigate between measuring/pulling equipment, vehicle repair data, welders, and training content.

“With this redesign, we have seamlessly integrated all segments of our collision repair equipment, specification data and training business,” says Bob Holland, Director of Collision in North and South America for Chief parent company Vehicle Service Group (VSG). “The website update makes it easier to find information about the wide variety of products and training we offer. The new site works better for our customers and does so while being more visually appealing.”

The new homepage highlights new equipment with large photos. Chief’s recent news releases are posted, so users can stay up-to-date with all the latest product introductions and updates. The homepage also includes a featured video and an overview of Chief’s innovative frame racks, anchoring systems and pulling accessories.

Links across the top of the site lead to landing pages for each brand’s product lines. The Chief portion of the website has landing pages for computerized measuring, frame racks, parts and accessories, vehicle specifications and tools for aluminum repair. The Elektron portion of the website includes new pages covering spot welders, MIG/MAG welders, aluminum welders, plasma cutters and MultiTool workstation. Content for the company’s training arm, Chief University, has been expanded and organized under its own tab where technicians, estimators and appraisers can learn more about each class and register. There is also a link to the Chassis Liner website.

Many of the individual product pages incorporate new photos and expanded content, including basic instructions for each tool. Product-specific videos are included on these pages, as are accessory lists and downloadable user manuals.
