Toronto, Ontario – March 27, 2019 – CHC Paint & Body Shop Supplies in Toronto, Ont. is the first Canadian shop to be named PPG’s 2018 Platinum Distributor of the Year.
The annual award honours the distributor that demonstrates outstanding performance, loyalty, product knowledge, and customer service and support.
John Parran, PPG director of the Platinum Distributor program in the U.S. and Canada, presented the award at the annual PPG Platinum Distributor Conference held on Feb. 21-24 at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, Florida. The conference brought together PPG Platinum Distributors from across North America. Pino Chiappetta, CHC president, and the company’s senior leadership and regional managers accepted the award on behalf of the CHC organization.

In addition to the Platinum Distributor of the Year honors, we also recognized CHC for winning the most new collision centers in Canada for the second consecutive year. CHC’s achievements are the result of years of hard work and shop wins, accomplished by Pino and his team.”
Along with Parran, PPG was represented by PPG chairman and CEO Michael McGarry, PPG vice president of global automotive refinish Gary Danowski, and PPG general manager of collision for the U.S. and Canada Tom Maziarz.
