Regina, Saskatchewan — November 11, 2013 — Maaco has announced a five-year agreement with long-time Regina, Sask. franchisees, Charlene and Marty Klyne, for the development of 13 Maaco collision centres in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The Klynes, former owners and operators of Maaco Regina, have played a variety of roles and been a part of the Maaco family for more than 25 years. The recipients of many awards, and recognized for the finest in customer satisfaction and quality throughout the chain, the Klyne’s Regina Maaco centre was awarded one of the premiere honours in the system when it was named a Maaco Certified Centre, a designation representing the highest standards for seamless collision repairs and expert spot painting, and the “best of the best” in the Maacochain.
“Maaco has been an enormous part of our lives for the last 25 years, and we are looking forward to our next role in the brand’s future,” says Marty Klyne. “We are excited to be embarking upon this new venture with Maaco. We will do everything we can to transfer our knowledge and experience to the system and hope to play a big part in growing its footprint and presence in the direct repair and collision space on the Prairies.”
“We couldn’t be more excited about developing new centers with operators of the Klynes’ caliber,” says Jose Costa, president, Maaco. “Under their leadership, we anticipate great success and look forward to contributing to the communities we serve.”
