Hamilton, Ontario — May 1, 2016 — The Canadian Certified Collision Care Program has awarded its first certifications. According to a statement on the program’s website at certifiedcollisioncare.ca, the program provides complete national coverage of certified repair providers.

Certified Collision Care is a third-party certification program that works with collision repair facilities that meet or exceed certain technical and training requirements. According to a statement from the program, in order to qualify, repairers must have the proper tools, equipment, training and facilities required to repair vehicles to OEM specifications and ensure a vehicle’s fit, finish, durability, functionality, value and safety are preserved.

Supreme Collision Centre in Bolton and Thornhill are the first collision repair facilities to be awarded with the Certification in Canada and will have their Aurora location certified shortly.

“We work very hard to stay ahead of the curve in the collision repair industry and to be leaders in every community that we operate in,” says Marty Reddick, President of Supreme Collision Centre. “This official certification demonstrates our commitment to our respective business partners, to develop and support our people, and continues our pursuit of process excellence. We are extremely pleased to be the first organization recognized by the Certified Collision Care Program in Canada.”

“I am excited to have the opportunity to bring this program to Canada”, says Leanne Jefferies, VP of Canadian Operations, Assured Performance. “Advanced materials are being used in all vehicles today. With so much new technology coming down the road at such a rapid pace of deployment, we need a way to identify facilities who are qualified to handle these repairs.”
