London, Ontario — Oct. 18, 2019 — CARFAX Canada is leaving its downtown London, Ont. digs and establishing a new headquarters at 100 Kellogg Lane’s former cereal factory, about four kilometres from its current offices.
CARFAX Canada, a vehicle history, appraisal and valuation provider formerly known as CarProof, has been located at 130 Dufferin Ave. in London, Ont. since its establishment in 2000. The company said it was seeking a “better workplace culture” at the new Kellogg offices.
“Our team is looking forward to moving into a new and exciting space that matches our innovative spirit and culture,” CARFAX Canada general manager Mark Rousseau said a statement. “Staying in London was important to us because of the access to remarkable talent.”
Rousseau also said staying in London was important to the company because of “the access to remarkable talent.” London is also home to 3M Canada’s headquarters and Dominion Automobile Association’s home offices, along with auto businesses.
According to 100 Kellogg Lane, the former cereal factory has been transformed into Canada’s largest entertainment complex. With more than 89,000 sq. ft. (8268 sq. m.) of office space and plenty of commercial space, the property is also home to the Factory, an indoor entertainment centre with zip lines, trampolines and arcade games, Powerhouse Brewery, the London Children’s Museum and Mystery Escape Rooms.
The head of the London Economic Development Corp. (LEDC) praised the newest addition to London’s Old East Village.
“It’s exciting to see this home-grown success story moving into the iconic 100 Kellogg building,” said LEDC president Kapil Lakhotia.
CARFAX will make the four-kilometre move in the summer of 2020.
