Toronto, Ontario — December 14, 2018 — CARSTAR Calgary Bowness is officially open for business. The new facility will be the second Calgary location for franchise owners Patrica and Robert Fahey, who have owned and operated CARSTAR Calgary McKnight for over 25 years.
The couple won’t be alone in running their two franchise locations, with their son, Chris Fahey, taking over duties as general manager.
“I started off as prepper just cleaning equipment for the painters at a young age and eventually worked my way up and learned all of the important details that go into each and every repair,” says Chris Fahey, general manager, CARSTAR Calgary Bowness. “Bowness is really a close knit and historic community in Calgary, so I know our family owned and operated facility will fit right in.”
Having provided quality collision repairs for over a quarter of a decade, the couple is looking forward to growing their reputation in the Bowness region. The new 6,000 square foot facility, located at 6316 Bowness Road NW, is equipped with the latest technologies and a team of experienced staff.
“Having been a part of CARSTAR since 1999, the Fahey’s have proven beyond a doubt their capabilities and ability to keep up with this rapidly advancing industry,” says Michael Macaluso, president, CARSTAR. “It is exciting to see these families grow before my very eyes and I feel proud that Chris has taken on this new leadership role at CARSTAR Calgary Bowness, so I can only imagine how Patricia and Robert feel.”
