Hamilton, Ontario — December 6, 2016 — Running a business is tough, but a new training initiative by CARSTAR is designed to help new franchisees hit the ground running. It’s an intensive, three-day course that promises to bring shop owners who are new to CARSTAR up to speed on many of the programs offered by CARSTAR and its vendor partners.
The first Immersion Conference kicked off today at CARSTAR Vision Park in Hamilton, Ontario. New franchise partners from all across North America attended.
Training over the three days includes a mix of both internal and external speakers and presentations from vendors. Representatives of Enterprise Rent-A-Car were on hand for the first day, filling attendees in on the functioning of the company’s ARMS system and how to use the system to help boost efficiency and view benchmarking in their local markets.
The three-day sessions promise to cover a wealth of useful information for new store owners, including business operations and managing vendor relationships, human resources and finances.
Each day of the Immersion Conference includes a visit to a local CARSTAR facility to see how the company’s systems and standard operating procedures work in action. The shop visit on the first day was to CARSTAR Rymal Road in Hamilton, Ontario. This facility was one of the first CARSTAR locations in Canada.
