Hamilton, Ontario – Willy Wonka would be proud of CARSTAR’s latest initiative, wherein facilities across North America surprised customers with prizes wrapped inside of chocolate bars.
Owners gave away chocolate bars to their customers, vendors, employees, and community supporters, with one special chocolate bar in each community holding a $100 cash gift card inside.
Participating locations spanned from CARSTAR La Tuque in Quebec to CARSTAR Ideal Northglenn in Colorado, and 35 other facilities in between.
“We have been family-owned and operated for 28 years and we are thankful to our customers as well as our employees, for sticking with us, especially during this challenging year,” says Patricia Fahey, co-owner, CARSTAR Calgary McKnight and CARSTAR Calgary Bowness. “Our employees have stepped up to the plate to take on extra work due to layoffs. The team works hard and is dedicated to the values and premier standards that CARSTAR represents.”
CARSTAR has built a reputation for collision repair excellence because it is locally owned and operated by people who care about the communities they serve. These longstanding body shop owners are grateful for their communities and happy to pay it forward.
“We have a close relationship with our community, and we were happy to see everyone appreciate our gesture of gratitude,” says Dave Jacobus, co-owner, CARSTAR Jacobus. “Our winner, Leon Maygra, already had a great day since he made 20 lbs catch while fishing. The excitement continued and he called to let us know he also won the $100 surprise in his chocolate bar.”
Unlike Mr. Wonka’s chocolate factory escapade, CARSTAR’s winners were all desrving; thus no escapades were had amid the search for the ultimate winner.
