Abbotsford, British Columbia — January 14, 2016 — The CARSTAR 360 Abbotsford location has become British Columbia’s first Tier 2 CARSTAR collision facility, designating it the organization’s first “Best-in-Class” repair centre in the province. According to a statement from CARSTAR, the organization’s “Best-in-Class” designation denotes a focus on facility, processes, equipment and industry leading KPIs.
“It is an honour to receive this designation,” says CARSTAR 360 Abbotsford President Rick Francoeur. “CARSTAR is Canada’s largest and most respected collision organization, and to be named their first Best in Class shop in the province is extremely gratifying. We’ve worked very hard for the past eight years to develop a reputation as one of BC’s top collision shops based on the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction and it’s great to have that dedication to excellence recognized.”
CARSTAR 360 Abbotsford is privately owned by brothers Rick and Daryl Francoeur. The shop opened in 2008, and currently services in excess of 500 vehicles annually.
Colson Cole is CARSTAR’s National Director of Operations. Commenting on the achievement, he noted that CARSTAR 360 is always focused on improvement.
“Achieving Best-in-Class Tier 2 status is a testament to Rick and Daryl’s pursuit of excellence,” says Cole. “Despite already being a high performing franchise partner, they are continually looking for ways to improve efficiencies and service.”
CARSTAR 360 is the only CARSTAR store in British Columbia to be certified to a Tier 2, which CARSTAR defines as an industry leading level. The facility is aslo an ICBC Valet CAR Shop, and is certified under the Give, Green and Growth (GGG) standards. CARSTAR 360 has been selected a direct repair facility to 13 different insurance companies, is dual 5S certified (CARSTAR and BASF) and in November 2015 became the Fraser Valley’s only Honda Certified collision repair centre.
