Wixom, Michigan — August 1, 2016 — Car-O-Liner has committed to a major presence at NACE 2016. In addition to two exhibits on the show floor, the company will serve as a sponsor of the MSO Symposium and multiple other presentations.
NACE 2016 takes place August 11 to 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Each of Car-O-Liner’s two booths will have a different focus. The Automotive Vehicles booth, #611, will include a Benchrack 5500 with a Tesla Model X body-in-white showcasing the company’s new dedicated fixtures. The booth will also feature a Quick42 with EVO anchoring of a 2017 Audi Q7 body-in-white.
Mark Allen from Audi of America will explain the mixed material construction and repair methodology of the new 2017 Audi Q7 on Thursday, August 11 at 1 p.m., and on Friday, August 12 at 11 a.m. in the Car-O-Liner booth.
The Car-O-Liner Automotive Vehicles booth will also include live demonstrations of the company’s complete welding line including aluminum MIG welding as well as spot welding with the new CTR7 resistance spot welder, aluminum repair, dent pulling and much more. Completing the booth, Car-O-Liner will have a “social engagement zone” where guests are invited to recharge with mobile docking stations and refreshments.
The Car-O-Liner Commercial Vehicles booth, #829, will debut heavy-duty truck collision equipment. According to a statement from Car-O-Liner, the equipment is popular around the world thanks to a universal straightening system that anchors to the floor and offers the flexibility to be easily moved and quickly set up.
Car-O-Liner says this provides collision shops of all sizes the freedom to enter frame straightening in a scalable manner within existing floor space. The package will also include induction heating equipment ideal for seized part disassembly, straightening, corrections and repair with the control and safety aspects that torches cannot provide. In addition, TruckCam, a global supplier to OEM assembly plants around the world, will also display in-line and end-of line wheel alignment, lane departure, collision avoidance camera and radar calibration equipment.
Car-O-Liner is again sponsoring the MSO Symposium on Thursday, August 11. Jonas Gunnarsson, Vice President for Car-O-Liner, is one of the slated speakers. Gunnarson will serve on a pane discussing how collision repair business models around the world compare to those in the US market.
Additional presentations from Car-O-Liner include a course on Damage Analysis held Friday, August 12 at 9 a.m. and Opportunities in Heavy Duty Truck Collision Repair on Thursday, August 11 at 9 a.m. For details of Car-O-Liner presentation content and locations, review the NACE Conference Program on the show website, naceexpo.com.
