Calgary, Alberta — The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology kicked off a brand-new summer camp on Monday.
Exploring Trades, Auto Body is a five-day, in-person camp designed for students from Grade 9 through Grade 12. Campers will gain hands-on experience with autobody techniques and procedures while learning the ins and outs of automotive prepping and detailing, says SAIT.
Students will learn how to use a paint gun and can take their creations home at the end of the week. Plus, they’ll be working in an operational bodyshop!
Exploring Trades, Auto Body is one of several camps that SAIT runs over the summer; other camp courses include AI development and general science courses for kids.
It appears the July 10 through July 14 session is the only Auto Body camp running this summer, but you can click here for more information.
