Toronto, Ontario — CARSTAR has decided to take advantage of the free time they have been experiencing due the pandemic, by reinvesting in its facilities.
Some facilities chose to focus on refinishing. CARSTAR Liss Auto Body repainted their wash bay and CARSTAR Danrich repainted their shop walls, reorganized their parts room and shelving area.
Additionally, CARSTAR Rapid City painted their garage doors, digitized their workflow process and created CARSTAR half-stars for the shop walls.
CARSTAR Yorkville added LED lights for better visibility and to save on energy usage. CARSTAR Custom 77 and CARSTAR Toronto Millwick repainted their shop floor.
Other facilities added safety guards such as installing barriers to protect staff and customers such as CARSTAR West-Hill. CARSTAR Crystal also created a safe guard by building a drop-off zone for keys.
On another note, some facilities chose to focus their time on community work. CARSTAR McAbee assisted in the body and paintwork on a ‘99 Silverado, which was in memory of a couple’s son who was killed in a motorcycle accident– entirely free of charge. Additionally, CARSTAR Brantford and CARSTAR Brantford West worked with industry partners and community members to donate $4,300 to Brantford Food Bank.
