Toronto, Ontario — Today is the first day at the Canadian Collision Industry Forum’s (CCIF) 2021 Toronto Virtual Experience. The event will kick off at 11 a.m., with a workshop presented by Simplicity Car Care.
Much like CCIF’s October 2020 online session, attendees will be able to network in virtual spaces via text, audio, and video chat; attend conferences and workshops, ask questions to speakers and sponsors from the comfort of your home or office.
The event will begin with a workshop from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (EST) titled, “Stop Managing, Start Leading: What you need to know to build the workplace back better.” The workshop will be conducted by Sharon Ramalho, former CPO for Mcdonalds; Canada, and presented by Simplicity Car Care.
Following the workshop, conference sessions begin, with the first titled, “An Insurance Perspective, the Effect of the Rising Cost to Fix Cars on our Shared Customer,” presented by Ryan Stein, Insurance Bureau of Canada.
The second workshop will start at 2 p.m. and will be presented by the I-CAR team; Bud Centre, Dick Fuchs, Jeff Poole, and Scoot VanHulle. The title of the conference is “I-CAR: ADAS is here…is your shop prepared?
The last session of the day is, “Succession Planning and Exit Strategies,” presented by Donald Cooper, The Donald Cooper Corporation.
On the virtual event’s second day of conference sessions, the first one will start at 1 p.m. and will be presented by Braham Elkin, M and A Club, presented by AkzoNobel.
Mitchelle International’s Ryan Mandell will be presenting the second conference of the day, titled “The Impact of Electric Vehicle Growth on the Collision Repair and Auto Insurance Industries.
At the very end of the two-day conference, CCIF will be conducting a virtual newsroom for media to connect with the speakers at the virtual event.
Content from the CCIF virtual experience will be available for three months after the initial event, which will be taking place on Feb. 3, and 4, 2021.
Registration for the event officially closed on January 28.
