Toronto, Ontario — September 13, 2018 — The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF) has a new exectutive director — France Daviault.
Daviault is a bilingual and seasoned association leadership professional who has worked in the private sector as well as with NGO’s and non-profit organizations.
Daviault spent over a decade in progressively more senior executive leadership roles. Her experience includes leading the communications team for the Canadian Council of Motor Vehicle Administrators (CCMTA), and most recently, as vice president of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA), managing the overall association operations and industry programs for an industry trade association. In parallel with that role, France was also executive director of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Canada (HDAC).
A graduate of Ottawa University with a BA in psychology, Daviault also holds an MA in professional communications, with a specialization in intercultural & international communications from Royal Roads University, in Victoria, BC.
She has her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE), and has been a guest lecturer at numerous symposiums. France is also a proud Officer Cadet in the Canadian Armed Forces Army Reserve.
CAF-FCA has been a strong advocate behind the scenes of the apprenticeship world for almost two decades advocating the benefits of hiring and training apprentices across the country.
