Honda, GM and Cruise team up to build the ultimate autonomous vehicle
Another autonomous vehicle is in the works and it looks like Honda, Cruise and General Motors are teaming up to fund and develop this one. Honda will be contributing approximately $2 billion over 12 years which together with a $750 million equity investment in Cruise, brings its total commitment to the project to $2.75 billion.
“This is the logical next step in General Motors and Honda’s relationship, given our joint work on electric vehicles, and our close integration with Cruise,” said General Motors Chairman and CEO Mary Barra.

Mr. West was in the building of Detriot’s College for Creative Studies this week preaching to the students to leave Tesla co-founder Elon Musk alone. A vehicle crashed into an electric pole in Mississauga this week causing over 3000 people to be without power for a short period of time, however Alectra Utilities says all the power has since been restored.
A video released on Twitter showed sparks of light that appeared like there was a fire but Peel Regional police said there wasn’t. The sparks were a result of, “the wires shorting themselves when they came in contact with each other,” police said.

The fire not only caused delays on the 401 just outside of London but a 43-year-old man was charged with arson for deliberately setting fire to the vehicle and walking away. The fire started early Wednesday morning at around 9 a.m. when police and K9’s came to the scene of the crime. They have yet to determine whether or not the suspect is the owner of the BMW.
