Buzz building for NACE’s California debut

The Anaheim Convention Centre will host NACE 2016.

By Mike Davey

Anaheim, California — December 29, 2015 — After last year’s event in Detroit, there’s no doubt that the NACE Conference & Expo remains North America’s premier event for collision repair professionals. More than 6,600 auto industry professionals attended the Expo in 2015, and 8,000-plus throughout Detroit attended NACE | CARS and related Industry Week events. The 2016 event is already on track to build on those numbers. NACE 2016 will take place August 9 to 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Like Detroit the previous year, this year’s location has its fair share of automotive history. California is well-known for its love of the automobile. In fact, the US west coast has the largest concentration of service and repair shops in all of North America with more than 30,000 shops in California alone. A statement from NACE show management also says there is increased interest in the 2016 event from Latin America and Asia.

More than two-thirds of the exhibition space is already booked. You can see the current show map here for a preview of what to expect. Those wishing to exhibit at NACE 2016 should book soon, as early bird discounts end soon and the rates will go up on January 1, 2016.

The event is still far in the future, but hotel and accommodation deals are already available. The show’s official housing partner, onPeak, offers exclusive hotel discounts. You can access these discounts through the Hotels page at naceexpo.com. NACE show management warns that onPeak is the only official housing partner for the 2016 event. Further, they specifically warn that if you are contacted by Convention Housing Services, Global Housing Services, Skylight GH Corp, that these companies are not authorized and any attempt to represent themselves as partnered with NACE is fraudulent.
