St. John’s, Newfoundland — July 25, 2016 — Colonial Auto Parts and A.P.M. have announced the appointment of Brian O’Reilly to the role of Senior Manager – Automotive, Fleet and Commercial Refinish for all Colonial Auto Parts and A.P.M. locations in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. The announcement was made by Douglas Squires, President and CEO of the company.
A statement from the company says O’Reilly brings over 40 years of experience to the Colonial/A.P.M. family, PPG/Nexa’s only Platinum Distributors in Atlantic Canada.
In this role, O’Reilly will be responsible for all areas of the automotive, fleet and commercial refinish market. Reporting directly to senior management, O’Reilly will be the primary representative for these product categories for branches and customers. He will work in conjunction with Ben Murphy (Colonial) and Bob Duplisea (A.P.M.), Atlantic Canada’s only PPG/Nexa Platinum Certified Distributor Technical Representatives.

Marc Goguen is the owner of Goguen Custom Painting in Cocagne, New Brunswick. He notes Brian’s extensive experience in refinish. “Congratulations to Brian O’Reilly on his new job,” says Goguen. “Being a custom painter, Brian has helped me many times with my special paint needs and questions and I am looking forward to working with Brian and the A.P.M. team in the future.”
O’Reilly’s mandate is to expand upon the success Colonial/A.P.M. has experienced in the automotive, fleet and commercial refinish markets and grow them even further. O’Reilly will assume his position effective September 1, 2016.
