Winnipeg, Manitoba — August 18, 2016 — The Boyd Group has announced the opening of a new collision repair centre in Slidell, Louisiana. Slidell is about 34 miles northeast of New Orleans with the centre well-located near the intersections of Interstate Highways 10 and 12.
“We are very pleased to add this new location, which strengthens our presence in the New Orleans area,” said Tim O’Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group’s US operations. “We look forward to introducing our high quality brand to new customers in Slidell while continuing to better assist our insurance partners.”
This marks the 39th facility added to the Boyd Group’s operations since the start of 2016. The company operates locations in five Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, as well as in 20 US states under the trade name Gerber Collision & Glass.
