Winnipeg, Manitoba — September 28, 2015 — The Boyd Group has announced the acquisition and opening of two collision repair centres in Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction, Colorado. Both are located in western Colorado along the I-70 interstate highway and previously operated as Perri’s Collision Repair & Refinishing.
Alert readers may recall a recent story that also involved an acquisition by Boyd of a facility in Colorado, making this the third Colorado acquisition announced by the company in the last week.
“These locations establish a foothold for us in western Colorado to complement our 14 locations focused on Denver in the eastern part of the state,” says Tim O’Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations.
Boyd Group operates hundreds of facilities throughout North America. The new facilities in Colorado will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass name.
“Both centres are well-established in their markets, with the Grand Junction location serving its community for about 23 years and Glenwood Springs for approximately 10 years,” says O’Day. “We look forward to building on these strong relationships and serving new customers with the Gerber brand of professional and friendly service.”
