Winnipeg, Manitoba — September 22, 2016 — The announcements of yet another Boyd Group acquisition south of the border have become somewhat routine since the start of 2016. However the company’s latest acquisition is somewhat closer to home. Boyd Group announced today that it has acquired Dumore’s Collision, located in Burnaby, British Columbia.
According to at statement from Boyd Group, the centre is well-located in the southeast of the city in close proximity to the TransCanada highway.
“We are very pleased to add this new location which complements our existing repair centres in Burnaby and New Westminster,” said Eric Danberg, President of the Boyd Group’s Canadian operations. “With nine locations now in the Metro Vancouver region, four locations on Vancouver Island, and seven licensed partners in the province, we have 20 locations, and are well-positioned to continue our high level of service to customers and our insurance partners.”
This marks Boyd’s 36th shop acquisition so far this year. For more on the previous acquisitions, please see “Boyd Group announces 35th acquisition of 2016.”
