Mont-Tremblant, Quebec —Uniban Canada held its annual Boost Convention last weekend, hosting its franchise partners and attendees in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.
By the time this year’s Uniban Canada Boost Convention closed on Saturday night, the company’s said its franchise partners were ready to take the theme to heart, return to their glass centres and apply their learnings to continue driving their business forward.
“We embarked on a strategic growth plan with our franchise partners to snap back from pandemic constraints, and we have worked together in lockstep to deliver the highest-quality service to be valuable members of our communities,” said Maurice Filion, president of Uniban Canada. “That collective commitment to our performance has boosted our network’s growth and we were proud to celebrate all that we achieved thus far.”

- Eric Blais, VitroPlus/Ziebart Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier
Filion officially opened the event with an address to the gathered audience on Friday afternoon, sharing the vision, goals, and path to success for the Canadian organization. Following the presidential address, keynote speaker, Matt Meier, EVP & chief digital and data office for Driven Brands, took to the stage to discuss the changing consumer landscape and the importance of maintaining a positive digital experience. The evening closed with a trip to P’tit Caribou, a hallmark of Mont-Tremblant, where conference guests had an opportunity to mingle with one another after a two-year convention hiatus.
The second day consisted of several informative breakout sessions ranging from department updates to industry trends. There was also an opportunity for Uniban Canada’s vendor partners to showcase the new products, services and solutions they are offering as part of Uniban Canada’s procurement program.
The final evening was the Boost Gala, where they named the top performers across Docteur du Pare-Brise, Go! Glass, Star Auto Glass, UniglassPlus and VitroPlus brands. Additionally, the evening concluded with more fundraising totalling over $20,000 for the Breakfast Club of Canada and Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation through donations, sock sales, a raffle and a silent auction.
“I have never been more proud to be a part of this family of brands and to be working for this exceptional network of franchise partners,” said Filion. “We, together as a corporate and franchise team, are truly excited to finally come together to celebrate all we have built. Uniban Canada has a stronger foundation than ever, and this event helped give us the boost we need to continue on this accelerated path forward.”
