Southfield, Michigan — July 22, 2014 — BASF Automotive Refinish will exhibit and present its latest products and processes at the 2014 International Autobody Congress and Exposition Expo & Conference (NACE / CARS) – the largest North American conference and exhibition dedicated to the auto collision and service repair industries from July 30 through August 2 at Cobo Center in Detroit.
The company will also host autograph sessions on July 31 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and August 1 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. featuring the star of Overhaulin’ and owner of Foose Design, Chip Foose. A restyled Wes Rydell 1954 Chevy “Cool Air†Bel-Air from Foose painted in BASF’s Glasurit 90-Line will be on display at the BASF booth (#18008). In addition, Chip Foose is conducting a paint demonstration with BASF Glasurit 90-Line on Friday, August 1 at noon in Cobo Center.
As part of the conference program, Hans Kempf, Training Manager from BASF will discuss Advanced Color Adjustment Tools & Techniques on Friday, August 1. BASF will also sponsor the Collision Repair Executive Symposium (CRES), held on Friday, August 1 during the expo.
