Mississauga, Ontario — April 5, 2016 — BASF has introduced Color Advance Boosters for its Glasurit 90 Line brand. According to BASF, what a turbocharger does for engine power is comparable to what the Color Advance concentrates do for the hiding power of Glasurit 90 Line.
The new water based formulation contains concentrated pigments. According to BASF, the new Color Advance Boosters will allow collision repair centres to benefit from lower material consumption, shorter process times and quicker drying.
The Color Bright concentrates are a supplement to the current 90 Line mixing bases. Whenever the Color Advance concentrates can help to save material and costs, a new formula is shown in the company’s SmartTrak online colour retrieval system.
A statement from BASF says over 1,500 colours will be available with the Color Advance concentrates and formulas will continue to be added.
