Windsor, Ontario — June 22, 2015 — BASF recently invited customers and stakeholders to attend an open house at the new location for its Automotive Refinish Technologies (ART) store and fulfillment centre in Windsor, Ontario.
The company has operated in Windsor since the inception of ART, a BASF site that manufactures automotive paints including OEM basecoats and primers automotive component coatings and automotive refinish coatings.
The Windsor facility produces a variety of metallic and non-metallic paints for BMW, Ford, GM and Honda. The new location is equipped with the latest technologies designed to manufacture waterborne coatings.
The new facility is located at 5850 Rhodes Drive and distributes BASF automotive paints, coatings and related accessories to the automotive collision repair and manufacturing industries.
In addition to the open house, BASF hosted numerous industry stakeholders for a BBQ lunch. The official ribbon cutting took place at noon, with Paul Whittleston, Vice President of BASF Coatings North America cutting the ribbon and officially opening the new ART.
