Tappen, British Columbia — British Columbia’s favourite back-country auto show is back as Avery Shoaf and Mike Hall gear up for the fourth season premiere of “Rust Valley Restorers”, airing on Thursday night on The History Channel.
This upcoming ten-episode run will again follow the duo restoring classic and rare vehicles out of their Tappen, B.C. salvage yard.
The current state of Shoaf and Hall’s business has raised questions among the show’s more dedicated fans who may recall that Hall sold a majority of his 550-vehicle “field of dreams” collection at auction in October.
In the season four premiere, fans can expect to see Hall and Shoaf fix up an abandoned Volkswagen for an old friend, as well as do some work on an old fire truck and a 1969 Barracuda.
Offering a double-dose of auto-focused programming, The History Channel also premiered “Lost Car Rescue” in January, which follows a similar premise, where a team of auto restorers comb through B.C.’s north in a helicopter to uncover hidden automotive gems left to the wilderness.
