Toronto, Ontario — August 11, 2015 — It’s August and that means the AYCE Employment Career Fair is right around the corner. Applications for this year’s Career Fair are now being accepted.
The event takes place August 24, 2015 at the brand new Tropicana Center of Excellence at 1385 Huntingwood Drive in Toronto. The event runs from 10 am to noon. For those who hire one of this year’s crop of determined hardworking graduates there are some real benefits.
According to a presser from AYCE, graduates provide shop owners the following:
– A subsidy of $1,890 over twelve weeks, which can help defray the cost of hiring an AYCE grad. Those hiring these grads will also be eligible for apprenticeship tax credits” that would be fantastic.
– Each graduate has their WHMIS training completed courtesy of Collision Industry Information Assistance (CIIA).
– Each graduate has his or her own tools, safety boots, coveralls and safety equipment.
“I am very excited about the potential of this group and I am sure you will be too after meeting with them. If you would like to reserve a table at this year’s career fair, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. This is a group that I and many others feel will have a great long and healthy future in the auto body industry, as we all know it starts with a positive attitude and this group has definitely shown that,” says Marc Tremblay, Co-Ordinator of the pre-apprenticeship training program at AYCE Employment Services.
