Axalta to highlight the need for speed at SEMA 2014

Glen Mills, Pennsylvania — October 16, 2014 — Axalta Coating Systems will highlight the need for speed at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) tradeshow this year with a display of Axalta colours on award-winning cars, plus a demonstration of how fast-drying the company’s coatings are at Axalta’s outdoor spraybooth. SEMA takes place November 4 to 7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

 

The Axalta booth, located just outside of the Central Hall front entrance, will be the place to watch celebrities spray or actually suit up yourself to spray Cromax Pro waterborne basecoat and Cromax Premier LE UVA primer-surfacer in an IntelliMist climate controlled booth.  After painting, visitors can talk to Axalta’s technical experts about the products or head to Axalta’s space on the show floor, number 22391, for autograph signing sessions, pinstriping demonstrations and much more.

 

“We are thrilled to make a special announcement on November 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at our booth with Four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Jeff Gordon,” says Nigel Budden, Axalta Coating Systems Vice President and head of its North America business. “I think attendees will find that our reveal makes quite a colour splash. We also want to make our presence interactive and our custom-built, fully operational spray booth will help us do that, while highlighting how highly productive and fast-drying our products can be.”
