Glen Mills, Pennsylvania — April 10, 2015
Axalta Coating Systems and Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), have teamed up with Automechanika Chicago to provide an interactive paint-mixing and -spraying environment right on the trade show floor in Booth #1034. The event takes place April 24 to 26, 2015.
Interested painters are encouraged to take the Axalta challenge and visit the Axalta event website to sign up ahead of time for sessions in the mixing room and paint booth. Each day will feature waterborne basecoats using a different Axalta refinish brand: Standox on April 24, Cromax on April 25, and Spies Hecker on April 26. In addition to painting, visitors can interact with technical experts or visit Axalta’s main booth (Booth #1302) for an introduction to the Axalta Learning Campus, and the company’s ColorNet formula-retrieval system or ProfitNet collision management system.
“We are pleased to offer a platform for technicians to test new products and techniques alongside one of our expert trainers. It is a great way for Axalta to educate painters about the latest innovations available in coatings,” says Jim Evans, Axalta North America Training Manager. “We provide similar opportunities at our state-of-the-art training centers across the country. Because proper training is so important, we are awarding scholarships to Automechanika attendees. For those who cannot travel, we are launching the Axalta Learning Campus at Automechanika which provides both technical and business e-learning.”
