AutoCanada buys Windsor dealership and collision centre

By CRM Staff

Toronto, Ontario — November 20, 2018 — AutoCanada has acquired Rose City Ford Sales Limited, one of two Ford dealerships in Windsor, Ontario.

The national dealership group will add the 65,000-square-foot facility, which includes 28 service bays and a collision centre, to its coast-to-coast dealer network.

“We are very excited to acquire our first Ford dealership, an acquisition that will advance our strategy of diversifying the brand and geographic mix in our portfolio of dealerships,” said Paul Antony, executive chairman of AutoCanada.

A letter of intent has been signed by both AutoCanada and Ford Motor Company of Canada with respect to the future operation of Rose City Ford.

“We can’t wait to welcome the Rose City Ford team to AutoCanada and we look forward to continuing to build the Ford brand in Windsor with them,” stated Michael Rawluk, president of AutoCanada.

The pending acquisition of Rose City Ford remains subject to closing conditions. The deal is expected to close in December.
