Kitchener, Ontario — Uniban Canada, a subsidiary of the Clairus Group, recently announced its acquisition of the Ontario-based auto glass repair and replacement network Go! Glass KW Group.
The Clairus Group is a North American provider of technology-enabled repair, replacement and calibration services for automotive glass and related advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). According to the company, the recent acquisition of Go! Glass’ seven stores, 20 mobile units and 42 Kitchener, Ont.-based employees serve as a “strategic step for Uniban Canada in solidifying its distribution market share and service footprint in the southwestern Ontario market.”
“Having acquired the Go! Glass and Accessories franchisor from John Day in 2018, Clairus is very familiar with the Go! Glass network,” said Marc Desmarais, Clairus Group president and CEO. “We are proud to acquire yet another outstanding business from John, a true veteran of the auto glass industry.”
The acquisition aims to provide Go! Glass with further resources to develop its calibration capabilities and enhance its customer experience, according to Uniban Canada.

It was also announced that, through the acquisition, Uniban Canada and the Clairus Group will be teaming up with Tim Mayvaian and Leon Momejian, two auto glass industry operators and management team members at Go! Glass. Both will assist in bringing the Clairus Group’s strategy of developing additional business opportunities in southwestern Ontario.
