Toronto, Ontario — Assured Automotive hosted its 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Wednesday, where more than 150 golfers met up for a day on the green and a post-tourney dinner.
This year’s tournament was hosted once again at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, and raised funds for the Michael Pinball Clemons Foundation (MPCF).
“We are always so blessed to be able to host such an incredibly successful event every year here at Glen Abbey as we continue to celebrate and earn the trust and respect of each of our industry partners,” said Des Browne, vice president of sales and business development for the Boyd Group Canada. “We are so thankful for their continued support as we come together to raise monies for such a wonderful charitable organization as the MPCF.”
Each year, proceeds from the Assured Golf Tournament are re-directed to the company’s charity of choice, the Pinball Clemons Foundation, of which Assured touts a long history of support. The funds are put toward the Foundation’s well-balanced portfolio of both local and international initiatives.
As always, former football running back and Pinball Clemons was in attendance to offer his thanks to the golfers. Clemons also spoke to attendees about the importance of the Foundation and events like the Assured Automotive Golf Tournament that operate in support of it.
