ARA Teleconference

By CRM Staff

Toronto, Ontario — February 7, 2019 —The Automotive Recyclers Association launched its first town hall meeting this afternoon, with a 30-minute teleconference discussing issues within the industry.

Owner of Standard Auto Wreckers David Gold took some time to speak during the conference, highlighting the ARA Convention and Exposition, which is set to take place later this year.

“ARA is focused on making the convention better and better every year and we are already in the planning stages, gleaning from lessons learned from last year’s new relaxed format,” said Gold.

“This year, the convention is going to be at a very convenient and popular location – Charlotte, North Carolina. The dates are October 10 to 12, 2019. So mark these dates in your calendar. It’s a Thursday to Saturday convention – so it’s shortened in duration as we pack more into these three days.”

The ARA Executive Committee will be hosting a monthly town hall meeting on the first Thursday of every month. The conferences are designed to give auto recyclers the opportunity to interact directly with fellow members and Association leaders, ask questions, and raise any issues impacting their business.

The next ARA teleconference will be held on March 7 from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. If you have a question for the Executive Committee or want to highlight something for ARA, email Snady.@a-r-a.org in advance of the call.
