And then there were four: Final four announced at SEMA Battle of the Builders Competition

Las Vegas, Nevada — As the SEMA Show 2022 winds down, the pool of competition for this year’s Battle of the Builders Competition gets smaller and smaller, as the top four finalists were announced Thursday afternoon.

It’s a family affair for the automotive royalty that is the Ringbrothers, as both Mike and Jim Ring have cracked the top four of this year’s competition, in the categories of Hot Rod/Hot Rod Truck and Off-road respectively.

The full listing of top four finalists is as follows.

Hot Rod/Hot Rod Truck: Mike Ring/Ringbrothers – 1948 Chevrolet Pickup Loadmaster

Sport Compact/Import Performance: TJ Russel – 1991 Porsche 911 BAJA

Off-road: Jim Ring/Ringbrothers – 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

Young Guns (29 and under): Josh Michels – 1966 Chevrolet Corvette

Stay tuned for more details as the winner of the competition is named Friday evening.
