Toronto, Ontario – In a recent press release made on October 16, AutoCanada has welcomed Drew Forret, a new member of AutoCanada’s Executive team.
Forret takes his seat as Chief Administrative and Transformation Officer, and AutoCanada is confident “that the impact he will have on the business will be great.”
Forret has previous experience in automotives, having served as both COO and CFO of CarProof Corporation (now Carfax). He has also spent time working for a provider of manufacturing plant floor software that partners with OEMs such as Honda, Toyota, Ford and Chrysler.
In the press release, AutoCanada also discussed how Forret is familiar with the world of investing, “it sounds super nerdy, but I watch CNBC all day to learn about what’s going on in the markets and to keep up to date on business news,” he said.
When asked what he’s looking most forward to about joining the team at AutoCanada, Forret replied, “AutoCanada has a lot of cache from an auto industry point of view.” He also said that the auto group offers a lot of opportunity to continue both organically and through acquisition.
Additionally, Forret noted that he already “(knows) a few AutoCanada Team Members already, and I’m really looking forward to meeting a whole bunch more.”
Collision Repair magazine offers congratulations on the new role.
