Palm Springs, California — BMW hosted its 2023 Certified Collision Repair Centre (CCRC) Conference of the Americas last week, where 450 collision repair shop reps, vendor partners and industry members gathered for two days of festivities in the desert.
The meeting marked the first time BMW CCRC members from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru and Brazil gathered together. Representatives from BMW AG Munich were also in attendance.
The event included discussions on technology, the future of the collision business and ADAS, as well as presentations from industry speakers like Mike Anderson of Collision Advice and Christian Ruecker of DEKRA.
SATA Canada was also in attendance, and the company awarded its top Color System customers exclusive BMW-themed SATA spray guns, designed by Dan-Am Company’s Andrea Hindt.
One of the event highlights was a visit to the Thermal Race Club for a BMW M3 competition.
BMW also awarded top-performing facilities with an awards ceremony, where London, Ont.’s Burwell Autobody claimed the 2022 CCRC of the Year for the Central Region.
