Toronto, Ontario — The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) is looking to share it’s spotlight with progressive-minded industry leaders with the introduction of the organization’s latest initiative, the IBIS Ambassadors program.
The Ambassador program aims to give a platform to those who IBIS refers to as, “thought leaders”, and allow them to share their personal experiences in addition to innovation-based content for the benefit of the global collision repair industry.
In Monday’s press release announcing the program, IBIS named Mario Dimovski, managing director of Plastfix and CEO of Tradiebot, as the first ambassador to be featured.
Dimovski came into the industry at the age of 16 as a plastic repair technician before carrying on to become one of the most active trailblazers in the emerging industries of 3D-printing and virtual reality.
This has led to Dimovsky becoming a sought after speaker in the collision industry, having made appearances and given presentations at industry events around the world.
“I am honoured by my appointment and look forward to working with the IBIS team and other IBIS Ambassadors. We work in a great industry and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to take part in so many exciting projects with other passionate people making a difference for generations to come,” said Dimovsky.
“IBIS Ambassadors is a great initiative which brings together like‐minded people to help IBIS become an even stronger voice for the ever‐evolving global collision industry.”
IBIS says that they plan to announce further ambassadors in the coming weeks and months.
